A portable record player in the form of a small case with a hinged lid; the body is covered in a cream-coloured textured material, and the carrying handle and metal latches are in place. The inside of the lid has a rectangular speaker grille, while the lower body holds the platter, a light-coloured tonearm and four control knobs. The lid lining shows widespread staining, darkening and water marks; the covering is soiled and worn along the edges and the metal latches are dulled. A cloth-covered cable with plug is attached.
